Weekly announcements:

Fortune families, this week we invite you to if you haven't done so make reading a part of your family time at home. Reading with your children can make a huge impact in their development. We will be sending a weekly reading log with your children starting next Monday. The preschooler that has the most minutes by the end of the Month will receive a prize. Reading will promote conversation and build communication and comprehension skills.

Recap:

The preschoolers were really invested in magnetic tiles. Aside from stacking and creating patterns, the children used the magnetic tiles in role play with toy people and animals. 

Waterplay continues to be a popular activity, the children explore with different size containers, funnels, and scoops to promote curiosity and awareness of measurement, cause and effect, and quantity. 

Reminders:

*Sign your child in & out, through our QR code and Fortune Preschool Form.

* Loaner clothes are to be washed and returned.

*Nap blankets should be taken home Friday, washed and returned the following Monday.

*Please make sure your preschooler has at least 1 extra pair of clothing.

Uniforms & recyclables

Uniforms are required and can be purchased https://fortuneschoolgear.com/product-category/forune-preschool/  (Purchasing all colors is NOT required) 

We ALWAYS accept recyclables and loose parts for projects and many other things are scholars will use to explore and learn!
