Preschool Announcements:
Fortune Families, August was an exciting month! Our Preschool staff was able to travel to Lake Tahoe to be part of our Professional Development Symposium. Our staff is excited to start implementing what we learned during our time away.
We want to congratulate our scholars who were promoted to T-K and Kindergarten: Aulani Coleman, Jameson Flores-Witter, Grayson Flores-Witter, Alena Bobbi Rogers, and Aliana Thompson.
Fortune Preschool welcomes our newest scholars: Mei Hua Chen Zhao, Zyla Calloway, Mecca Brooks, and Adonis Palacios.
Classroom Recap:
Fortune Preschool introduced a new outside working space this month, Our Mud Kitchen. It has been a great hit; for now, our scholars are able to explore with water and different sensory material. Our mud kitchen will continue to grow as we await more of our supplies. It's amazing to see our young explorers at work and their enthusiasm to use the open-ended loose parts in all the areas: water table, sound garden, cozy area, building area, garden/art area, sandbox, and our newest feature, the mud kitchen.
